The Ask

After 2 successful seasons of Nike's most popular digital content series, it was time to bring PLAYlist to life in a new way. R/GA was challenged to put together a 3 day activation at NBA All Star 2020, culminating in Nike's first ever live scripted programming. 

The Approach

Nike PLAYlist studio transformed an empty retail space on the Magnificent Mile into an interactive installation. Over the course of 3 days we had 2500+ kids come through to get kitted out in the latest Nike gear, play alongside all-star athletes, and join our live studio audience for the filming of new PLAYlist episodes.

Our 30 minute live show, which aired on Nike's YouTube channel featured Scottie Pippen, Sky Katz, Ben Simmons and Josh Okogie.
